Mentoring

Improving performance, career development, counselling and sharing knowledge are four key benefits to mentoring. At Hotel Advantage, our trained team can provide strong, knowledgeable mentoring from team member level to  GM. As an independent person, we can often offer a more confidential ear for someone who may have worries or concerns, or just a more distanced viewpoint for someone who is close to the business. We discuss your goals - for example, you want help with accountability or maybe just a listening ear - and we set regular appointments either face-to-face, online or on the phone. 

 

Discussions are confidential, however if there is a serious or legal issue we will advise management that there is a problem that they need to discuss with the mentee. 

For the individual, mentoring has a hugely positive effect on morale and can turn around performance issues, leading to increased productivity. For new team members, it allows them to express any concerns in a safe space, as well as giving them the best possible start with external guidance and support.
